Refund Policy
A fair, plainly stated refund window for digital instruments.
If the plugin doesn't fit your workflow, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — no interrogation. After 14 days we treat it case-by-case for genuine defects.
0114-day refund window
You may request a full refund of any first-time purchase within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of purchase. We don't require a reason, though we appreciate feedback to improve the product.
02Eligibility
To qualify, all of the following must be true:
- The request is submitted within 14 days of the original order date
- The license has not previously been refunded or transferred
- The license is not part of a non-refundable bundle (see §3)
- The order was purchased directly from sanesounds.com (third-party retailers handle their own refunds per their policy)
03Non-refundable items
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Educational and special-discount licenses (clearly marked at checkout)
- Bundle add-on credits already redeemed
- Sale or promotional purchases marked "final sale"
- Gift purchases that have been redeemed by the recipient
- Repeat purchases of the same product (we'll help you recover the original instead)
04EU / UK consumer rights
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and equivalent UK regulations. By purchasing and immediately downloading digital content, you may be asked at checkout to expressly waive that right; if you choose not to waive, the standard withdrawal rules apply.
Our 14-day refund policy meets or exceeds these statutory protections.
05How to request a refund
- Email support@sanesounds.com from the address used to place the order
- Include your order number (format
SS-XXXXXX) and product name - Optionally tell us why — feedback is genuinely useful
You do not need to uninstall the software before contacting us; our team will guide you through deactivation.
06Processing time
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear. Refunds are issued in the original currency at the original amount; we do not compensate for currency-fluctuation differences.
07License revocation
Upon issuing a refund, the associated license key is permanently deactivated. You must uninstall the software and stop using it. Continued use of the software after a refund constitutes a breach of the EULA and is treated as software piracy.
08Defects & bugs (after 14 days)
If you encounter a reproducible bug or compatibility issue, contact support first — most issues are fixable. If we are unable to provide a working version within a reasonable time, we may offer a refund, partial credit, or a free upgrade at our discretion, regardless of the 14-day window.
